Found this lovely pub for food and relaxing after exploring Wales, staff were very friendly and helpful, service was quick and food was great, gammon was outstanding and steak and ale pie tasted amazing. Well worth stopping in here for food Lovely location regardless of the fact it's difficult not to have one around Ceredigion. Very attentive staff, perfect food and value for money. I was pleasantly shocked that the bill for 6 meals, 5 deserts and drinks only came to around £113 👌 #Recommended and will be visiting again in the future. We thought we should treat ourselves to a meal out, we were googling places to go locally and found The Wild Fowler was only 20 minutes away. Perfect! We booked a table (worth noting if you ever visit) and arrived to be greeted straight away and shown where our table was. The staff were so lovely and the atmosphere felt cosy and welcoming which we appreciated. We got our drinks very quickly and then food came…I had the wild mushrooms on bloomer toast which was incredible, such a lovely sauce too! My partner had the squid bites which were so beautifully cooked! We both decided on the ribs for mains and it did not disappoint, the meat fell off the bone and the chips were delicious! The presentation was outstanding and we really felt looked after by everyone! The prices may seem expensive but it is so worth it for the quality and care that goes into the food and service. After reading the great reviews we thought we would try it out but they don’t allow dogs inside and we weren’t going to freeze in the outside area so we went elsewhere.
