A nice park. Well maintained, and incredibly quiet. Great environment in a fantastic location. Fabulous site. Facilities are spotless & they even provide teatowels & washing up liquid! The bar is lovely & everywhere. Louise on reception was super helpful. We came to Gallaber for a family camping trip. The was and well kept, facilities were brilliant, in the toilet block the floors were heated, toilets and showers very clean. They also had washing up facilities in the toilet block, with washing up liquid and tea towels available to use. There was a small field for pitch and putt with clubs and balls free to use. There was also a small pub onsite open weds-sun. They had quizzes and games on throughout the weekend which were a lot of fun. There was a for this to play on too. Overall we felt very safe, lots of families around, plenty of space for kids to run around. We even booked on to stay an extra night! Can't wait to visit again! A gem in North Yorkshire. It was to good to leave after several visits. We have now made it our permanent bolt hole. If you are touring or looking for static holidays, it has the lot. Can't fault the guys that run this park. We turn up sometimes twice a year and are always made welcome. They catered for us with emergency numbers of due to my needs after brain surgery. This most recent time we totally got the checkout date wrong, but they were more concerned that I may have taken ill and allowed us an extra night if we needed 'gratis' in order to check out. We didn't however, we checked out just a little late as a result of our miscalculation, not wanting to take advantage of the amazing hospitality shown to us. We will be returning next spring as usual. Oh yes, the is always immaculate too, vans, we always choose the same one, is always and tidy. The only tiny gripe is the internet can be spotty, but then again it gives us a reason to get out, or read. location and beautiful park. We have acquired a seasonal pitch and love it. The are all friendly and very helpful. Stayed in a pod which was lovely and perfect area Did the mighty hike which was a short 15 min drive away so perfect location Good amenities quiet and well kept grounds A REVIEW FROM A CURRENT STATIC CARAVN OWNER. The is spotless and benefits from staff. The bar is lovely and the terrace even better on sunny days. The sits just a 15 minute walk from Hellifield train station, here for breakfast as well as a quick trip into Skipton. We have been here many years but are now looking to selling our 2020 Willerby Linwood 3 Bedroomed home. Sitting on a quiet spot within the "new" area Willows, the decking boasts sunsets and perfect views. We have owned the from new and it is immaculate inside and out, growing teens means we now barely have the time to use this space. A very poor offer from Gallaber (mentioned in posts from other previous owners such as Brian) and their unhelpfulness to help you maximise a sale on your investment means we will continue to use our home and update our post with any significant information that may require updating. I have friends on other sites within the same locality who have been overjoyed with the help they received when deciding to sell up as well as the value, other sites advertising on behalf of their LOYAL customers and duly taking a reasonable commission. You don't realise when you sign the contract how "low" their offer will be so at the time, you don't actually worry about it. God help a change of circumstances doesn't require you to sell quickly. In review to a "fair and competitive price", making several thousand pounds on a sale may be considered fair, offering £15k below an exact same model you have for sale but one that is a year older than our own, is bound to leave one with a bitter taste. Selling doesn't need to be difficult and many owners assist their customers in achieving a fair price minus a commission, as a business you make it hard for existing customers to sell their home to anyone but yourselves, being unable to place a "for sale" sign in a we own, benefits only yourselves. The tactics are ruthless and underhanded. Gallaber is truly something special. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome — not just by the staff, but by the residents too. It felt more like coming home than visiting a park. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the scenery is stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere made it so easy to relax and switch off — which is rare for me with the job I’m in. The walks are idyllic, especially if you have dogs. Ours absolutely loved exploring the fields, chasing scents, and spotting the rabbits! The management team have been fantastic from the very first enquiry about booking a lodge. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. It’s clear how much thought has gone into creating this place — and it shows in every detail. Huge thanks to everyone at Gallaber Park. Myself and Shelley had an amazing stay and we’re already planning our return. — Wesley The Stag on is great. The touring pitches are of good size, grounds are kept lovely by the grounds people. Have a on this and find the whole place so calm, friendly and beautiful. Within easy reach of so many places if you drive, and reasonable walk to Hellifield railway station if you don't (15 minutes walk). Lovely pub on site, enclosed forest for dogs to go nuts in. Our best decision in years, coming here We have been visiting Gallaber for a few years now. We recently managed to have a few days there. The is well set out and the are friendly and helpful. There is a bus and train service nearby which we find very helpful in getting around. The accommodation is of a high standard and more than suits our needs. We look forward to visiting again in the near future. Highly recommended. Interested in looking for a good on which to buy a caravan, we went go Gallaber site, Long Preston, Skipton. Parked up and after looking a two new caravans on the car park, we saw Mark Rose in the office and asked him if we could have a chat. We explained we were just checking out sites and available caravans and he offered to show us around at some new and used caravans, with no obligation. He must have showed us at least 8, with prices ranging from £30k with decking, up to £60k, some with some without decking. He was not at all pushy, was patient with all our questions, and at the same time giving us good advice about what to look for. Each spaciously set out with with lots of lawn areas around each. Car parking next to each caravan, mostly on paved areas. Gallaber is a beautiful, spacious park, with exceptionally high standards everywhere, nice garden areas and facilities on the is a gym and bar, kids adventure play area, boules court, large field play area and large 9 hole chip and putting golf course After the tour we expressed an interest in a new and after further information we put down a deposit. The caravans were offered with a 10% discount during this month, so that was even better. Our whole experience with Mark Rose was purely him explaining about each and giving the price, completely leaving to us to it. Many thanks to Mark for an enjoyable Sunday, with all our visits soon to com. Can highly recommend Gallaber and Mark Rose as an excellent ambassador. Beautiful place, tidy park! really welcoming and friendly. Accommodation was excellent would definitely recommend to everybody who wants a relaxing break. Everything was perfect! Will definitely be going back there again. A in one of the nicest static caravans you could hope to stay in. We were arriving very late, way after the reception was closed but access and welcome pack were ready when we got to the site.
