A Great hotel. Deserves 10 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ! We stayed 2 nights to check out Newcastle stadium tour & Hadrian's Wall. Natalie & Debby were super nice & good and attentive to us. Great chef in restaurant makes great dishes. Great new large comfy rooms...soft bed..new bathroom...big tv...big soft towels. Ask for The Bowes Room. The sweet gal who makes up the rooms was so nice. Park free right in front of hotel. We loved our stay. A very pleasant surprise ! Lovely place to eat,we had Sunday lunch the food and sevice was great. The staff and surroundings were great,with very reasonable prices. We also popped into the local pottery next-door. Stopped here on a Sunday the way from a trip in Scotland. It was a smaller menu available on Sunday, which actually makes it much easier to choose! Had the chicken roast and I would say its one of the best sunday roasts I've ever had. The gravy was perfect; plenty of everything else as well including lovely cauliflower cheese and some amazing red cabbage! Service was great, super friendly and efficient. Will definitely be visiting again.
