All ok here Velodrome beatiful, picture taken in a trip to Switzerland, and lunch at the airport restaurant. We tried to lunch at the velodrome but was closed on that day. Its very sporty place for bike enthusiasts and photographers. A huge Velodrome with access, a gym and shop. The restaurant is very good, serves drink and food. Need to include more Vegetarian food though. I stayed there for business, not cozy for a standard, but a place to stay for a week. Rooms were cleanly maintained and sumptuous buffet breakfast. It's fantastic that our son has the opportunity to go here every week and train. Shame they weren't supported more for their dedication and efforts. They certainly travel at some speeds!! Very nice hotel which is actually a part of cycling stadium. I was, however , very disappointed by a very poor choice of evening menu in the restaurant. Burger, pizza and not very tasty beer is not whatafter I am expecting to eat in a Swiss hotel. Stayed here when it first opened. Great venue, clean and organized. Not what I expected in terms of lodging (assistants at work who booked it thought it was a hotel) but entirely adequate. I'm sure that for a cycling event it's a great place, we booked a room for one night when we arrived in Switzerland prior to the handover of our new home the following day. I would definitely NOT recommend a room here, it was the single worst room I have ever been in. It was not clean, the shower had no basin so all the water just poured out into the bathroom, the beds were uncomfortable.... ETC ETC ETC. And the restaurant closes at 18:30 so also not ideal. Had a great trial class here! Instructors were friendly, fun and clear! TERRIBLE experience at the hotel. I arrived around 10pm, did the self-checkin, they charged me, then the machine said there was a technical error and could not hand me my room access keys. Tried again, they charged me AGAIN, and still no access keys. There was no more human reception at the moment and I was left stranded at the street, having to pay way extra at the middle of the night for another hotel. If you cant have a self-checkin system DONT HAVE A SELF CHECKIN HOTEL. Dont go there if you want to risk be left on the street in the middle of nowhere If you love bikes, you'll love the velodrome Just outstanding! Very nice and clean!
