Brewery and restaurant is closed for renovations without any mention on social media or on the website. All listed hours and info are wrong. Poor business management. The beers are outstanding and locally made. As it's own brewery, that's what you expect. But on top, they offer a very cozy garden near the lake where you can grab a laying or regular chair to relax under the trees. The food with burgers, salad and chicken wings is good as well. The opposite is sometimes a playground which makes it awesome with kids as well because they have space to run and play Boccia. We went to Biel with a class of students. The stay was fantastic as well as the meals (breakfast and dinner). I would like to highlight that despite of a misunderstanding about the menu ordered in advance, they did their best to change it and we all enjoy a great dinner after all. Merci pour tout!!! Great location, good service, they always helped and were fast and sympathetic. The rooms are ok with all you need. Good beer. Just don't eat the burger, is really bad 😀 Really nice place to stay and have a beer with your friends on a Friday evening or after work. It's always a cozy atmosphere with great people and good drinks. The craft beer is one of the best in town, seriously worth a try. Best to combine with one of the burgers or the local fish, both are really good for a reasonable price. Keep up the good work. Nice for warm season. We just spent almost a week at Lago Lodge, best place, close to train station, lake cruises, still quiet and peaceful. Great beer and food and very friendly staff. People stay up late at night making loads of noise and then when you wake up at 6am with your young kids and they make a bit of noise they start shushing you. I don’t think it’s for family. Beer and fish knusperli gets a 4/5. The Lago Lodge is a staple of Biel it belongs to the city as much as the Lake, i've been here ever since i was little and was never disappointed. It has a big parking space next to it that i reccomend to park if you wanna visit the lake or any facillity near the lake, hte Lago Lodge itself has great food and fair prices. Beautiful Auberge and Excellent Bistro. Excellent beer, Lagoburger to try absolutely , excellent coffee rich and full breakfast, cheerful and comfortable atmosphere on the shore of Lake Biel. Great location, friendly staff. Good for class trips and easy-going vacations. It is not a buttoned-down kind of place but more for easy-going stays with activity into the night.
