The Dreaming is nothing short of magical! The house, grounds and forests are beautiful and it's feels like you're in a bubble (or dream) the whole you're there. Kerry was such a warm, kind and welcoming facilitator for my stay on the signature retreat. The food was absolutely delicious and the rooms are so comfortable. I was a little apprehensive before going but I had an amazing and wouldn't hesitate to recommend going for rest, relaxation, self reflection and in nature - if you're thinking about it, just book it! I did the 3 day at The Dreaming with 6 other women. We were made to feel completely welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. The whole was magical from start to finish. The amount of love, care and attention that went into everything was extraordinary. The workshops, the rooms, the food, the grounds. I don't have enough praise for what has been create by Charlotte, her wonderful team and the volunteers. Special shout out to Kerry who facilitated the group. Kerry held a completely safe space for us all to show up as we needed to over the three days. That isn't taken lightly as it takes an enormous amount of dedication, love and devotion to be that for a whole group. Thank you from the bottom of my heart x Today I am remembering the wonderful I had at The Dreaming during November 2024. I had been looking at this for a little while prior to booking on, it was just a matter of the right timing. It was the morning of Friday 1st November and I was feeling a little spontaneous as I had no where to be and I had experienced a super stressful week leading up to this and I really just wanted to escape everything. So, I looked to see if there was any upcoming retreats at The Dreaming... and there was!! BUT it was starting that same day and I was 259miles away.... the sat nav told me I could get there in 5hours, so I thought, let's do it!! CRAZY. There was one space left in The Moon room which was the room I really wanted to stay in, so I booked on and packed as fast I could and set off around midday. It took me closer to 7 hours to get there BUT was worth every minute! I so welcomed when I arrived, even though i a little spaced out from all the driving. I pretty much went straight to bed after meeting my room mate, who to this day, I regularly video call and have become great friends with! Such a blessing! It wasn't until the next day that I got to appreciate the gorgeous house and surroundings that I was staying in.... and WOW it was out of this world!! The interior was stunning and I instantly at home and relaxed. This helped calm my nerves and feel able to let go of all stresses and be comfortably myself. Charlotte, Debra and Johnny were incredible at leading us through the workshops and activities that were carefully curated to help us find the Song of our Soul. My creative juices were in full flow and my inner child came out to play. There was zero judgement from anyone and the whole group supported each other on our own individual journeys. There were tears, lot's of singing and making noises and of course a whole load of laughter. It truly was a healing for me! I was pushed out of my comfort zone in a safe space, supported by wonderful humans and I got to use my voice and be unapologetically me, even though it took a few days to really let go of the old beliefs around using my voice. I have like my voice has been suppressed for so long and coming the Song of the Soul has triggered me into a journey of healing, particularly in using my voice. Stepping up instead of stepping back, expressing my feelings and opinions instead of hiding them for fear of backlash. I am not there yet, but I am working on it everyday! So I wish to give a huge thanks to Charlotte, Debra, Johnny and the whole team at The Dreaming for the gift that you give in the world...helping people find their voice, supporting people in the gorgeous safe space that you have created and for choosing to use your voices in the way that you do! Hopefully I will get the opportunity to visit again someday. The article on Charlotte Church from The Guardian on Feb 25 inspired me to check out The Dreaming website and as with any decent website, it was very enticing and simultaneously my cup of tea splashed with a slight fear of showing my vulnerability. I was grieving therefore no real thought to any expectations I may have normally had. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in the right place for some healing, and nourishment in many ways. The land, spectacular views, sheep in the nearby fields, the fresh air, the house itself and the lovely people running the made it a truly extraordinary experience. From the silent disco, sound meditation, walks in nature, to the art session, nature crafting, every single luscious meal and more, each moment was a gift that fed my soul. I met a great group of people and could not have asked for a better facilitator in Kerry Sanson. Thank you everyone, and if you’re considering signing up…don’t even hesitate. You won’t regret this beautiful and unique experience. I enabled to start my journey after leaving. Staff accommodation and food all absolutely wonderful. The outdoor activities ( which you come away with reflection and inner knowledge) And A beautiful feeling of happiness . Huge Thank you to the Chef every Night there would be a Feast that would make your mouth water . The food was delicious and presented. I’m such a beautiful array of colours. It made you feel like he was eating the rainbow. I enjoyed every single part of the and I came away so thankful grateful and very reflected .I would say it one of the best experiences of my life .
