There is a 2 level birdwatching platform with excellent views over the river estuary and lots of information panels showing exactly what type of birds you are likely to see. Top tip: if you want to see lots of birds, you need to visit early in the morning. In autumn and spring you will see hundreds of migratory birds. There is a small car park nearby and a lovely walk through a forest towards the beach about 2km away. There is no toilet or café nearby.
