Always a favourite as dogs can go on here in summer. V pebbly if tide in.. Good beach at low tide and dogs are allowed all year round but the tide fills it up Nowhere to park, yellow lines everywhere. Boat club has a locked private car park adjacent to the salt water lagoon. Nearest parking is either in the small car park behind the cafe's or further away on the street, both a good walk to the shoreline. Really peacful beach, very quiet in the week (outside of school holidays) Free carpark right on the front. Lovely walk along but can get windy. Overlooks both Barry and the other side Smaller beach just off Barry Island more pebbles than sand but backs onto a large green area where the open air lido once was. Also some shops and cafes just up the road. Worth visiting if you're after a quieter beachy day out. Fantastic Beach At High tide it can be busy and difficult to park and in good weather lot of swimming. Low tide’s are much quieter. Throughout the year at high tides there are Ladies swimming group meets. Good stroll along the sea front, sturdy footwear for pebble beach recommended, ideal for paddle boarding 😀 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
