It is a very dog friendly pub. The was very and helpful. There is a very limited choice of the gluten-free option, but the food tasted nice! We will go back again if we are in the again. We went in with no reservations. This was no problem for a party of two. was very friendly and we ordered a Fish and Chips and a chicken Caesar salad. It was Went for a Sunday lunch, food was very hot and delicious. Fish & chips really and so was the vegan burger. Burger was completely dry though - no salad, sauces or vegan cheese, not sure if the chef forgot or if it comes like that. Only minor irritations were a man smoking right outside the back door and his smoke was being blown towards us by the wind. It would be if smokers were asked to use a space more towards the rear as if we were sitting at the table by the door I’d have complained and would’ve asked to move. Also floorboards aren’t very stable so every time someone walked past our table vibrated. Overall though, food and very pretty garden. Slow had to wait 20 minutes to order drinks, and food looked but not as as last time. Roast potatoes had a very hard exterior, so once in, I only ate the middle. I would say the veg was just blanched, so Al dente. Yorkshire Pudding looked but was rubbery. The best was the roast beef and roast Lamb. The water for the table came in a bottle but inside the neck was dirty as if not cleaned. Biggest bug bear was non blue badge parked in the disabled parking space A little pub with indoor and outdoor seating and an outside garden area. The kids play was but could be improved, very small and they have the space for it too. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. However the food was hit and miss. The chips looked very greasy and not at all appetising, a shame as they seem like a staple with most dishes. The mushroom carbonara and calamari were great. The member serving us was lovely. Prices similar to most pubs.. I really recommend the Sunday Roast! I'm quite fussy when it comes to roast dinners but I would definitely go back to the White Hart for another one! The fudge cake wasn't something I would rush back for though as it was quite hard and not soft and fudgey! The other desserts looked nicer! :D Brilliant local for food and a quick beer. Outside seating for the few summer months we have here in the UK. Decent Sunday roast to scratch that itch. Plus no washing up after! Def worth a visit if you're local. Our Daughter has recently moved near here and following a recomendation from a friend of mine we popped in on the way home one sunday. We wasn't dissapointed and have been back again. Food and is very (be sure to check out the specials board) size portions so you won't leave hungry. If I was being hyper critical it could do with a little bit of a renovation as it is looking a tiny bit tired, but that won't spoil your enjoyment. Parking is a bit limited although you can oark on the road outside when busy (being busy is a sign) You can book tables in the bar if you have a dog and the outside (which we haven't used yet( looks loverly.) Came here for a catch up lunch with friend. We reserved a table but there was still plenty avaliable. Food was fresh and really tasty, I had pork belly bites and it had stir fried vegetables that tasted amazing. Had some mash and gravy that again both were full of flavor. There was a large table that was seated before us and we were warned that food could be delayed, if it was we didnt notice. We were talking plenty so the delay wasn't noticeable. Lovely place to eat, great choice of food and was attentive. Would definitely go again. Just a little bit dark in the restaurant on the night we dined Definitely one of the best pubs and restaurant that myself and my wife have attended it for a very long time. The was fantastic. The were very polite pleasant and welcoming and the food was extraordinary. There is nothing on the menu that I would not eat, I would highly recommend This location if you are in the area. Excellent roast dinners it was a birthday treat all the family enjoyed them. Two course desserts were very good. Waiting excellent. So reasonable. One person had a starter served with the mauns aubergine. Very good. Fantastic food, fresh, tasty and portions. The is always excellent, friendly and attentive. Reasonable prices and great atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Well done to all at the White Hart. This is my old local pub, and we recently held our wedding reception here. The and food were superb. The incredibly helpful and made the day even more special. Really value for money and our guests were really complimentary about the food, and pub generally. Thank you once again to everyone. It has an amazing atmosphere, and the is hands down the best. there were many waiters, all were nice, but we got surved by duggy. They were very and they helped so much(idk if their name is spelt right). I very much recommend the ribieye steak and the fish and chips overall amazing place ☆☆☆☆☆ 6 of us, now retired, meet regularly for lunch. This was the first time at the White Hart, but it won't be the last. Our needs are: easy access and disabled parking for one of us, quiet enough to talk as a group, gluten-free option for medical reasons for one, and the cost won't break the bank. All this was met, and the food was really delicious! The gluten-free option was clear and on a separate menu - which, if this is a serious issue, is really reassuring. Add to all that cheerful staff! Thanks, White Hart.
