We rented the BARN. PROBABLY THE MOST DIRTY PLACE IVE EVER STAYED !!!! Floors hadn't been moped No where had been hoovered Shower trays disgusting Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Oven trays where so bad we had to go buy some !! Bath was broken with sharp edges and jacuzzi bubbles not working. Hot tub was filthy and just a inflatable (not as advertised. Pool table was broken with sharp edges. Insufficient towels etc. Upstairs shower leaks into lights below tripping the power. We found out the is self service AVOID THIS PLACE. We ordered a cozzy Bell with heating and tv. We arrived to a 25 minute wait no one was on it took 25 minutes forthe to answer his phone.They give us a stargazer this is a see through the pictures on the show full sided tents. After I raised concerns we were moved. The advertises pizza making, marshmallow and log burner and football pool none of this was available due to the not being on site. Noise we had people turning up at 10 pm having BBQs and making noise until 2 am there is no security its a free for all. Toilets and showers thet are mixed toilets only 1 works for around 9 tents there is 1 shower nothing is clean because no one is on site. litter and cigarette ends are all over the camp in the bbqs and around the tents. we are going a day early its that bad. This place is the right getaway if you want to go for somewhere relaxing. The place provides with all the necessary stuff and a beautiful hot tub from where you can watch movies from a projector. The staff is amazing and provided me with excellent service. The place is 20 mins away drive from an amazing beach! Bodily fluids on the sofa, cutlery was filthy, no cooking oil or washing up liquid so couldn’t even make our own food. Hidden £36 fee for logs to use the hot-tub. The bed was filthy, the shower was cold, around the hot-tub it was sunken in mud, the speakers didn’t work for the hot tub projector, only one TV/media remote had batteries. There were cobwebs everywhere. Bins were overflowing with rubbish and absolutely stank. And the avoided these complaints after many many attempts. Sadly the large Glamping Tents and the location they are situated need a re think by the owners. The 2 large Tents are positioned in a corner on there own, surrounded by overgrown weeds and bushes all around the Tents. The flat surface infront of the tenants has the odd piece of grey rocks scattered and bottle tops and cigarette ends, this is where the wooden bench and rusted chairs are that are used to sit outside. Inside the was clean and the bedding too, however the cream Tents have huge big black stains everywhere and also green stains from the overgrown weeds . The plastic window on the was ripped out and the zip that closed the was damaged which I had to repair. Unfortunately it all felt like a very dirty area and stuffed into a corner behind the weeds and the only view you have is the wooden shed that was the only toilet for the camp with one shower. The only kitchen equipment in the tenant was a kettle, everything else is in a communal kitchen that the campsite uses. It's a real shame because the other areas of the campsite for the clamping pods and tepee Tents are very well thought out and looked lovely . DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!! Arrived at the property with no indication of where to go other than a very poorly described check-in procedure. I had booked a for three people. All tents were filthy and one of the most unhygienic things I’ve ever witnessed. the of the property then us to stay in the hut Further along. She then also another family that had turned up to stay in the same hut. Due to being absolutely no accommodation for us now at the property, we were forced to leave and go home. After many attempts of calling the finally answered the phone again and us if I send my bank details, she will refund the money straight into my bank account. once off the phone she back paddle and refuse to send the money, said I have to cancel through Booking.com but Booking.com was not free cancellation. The has now ghosted me and I have no way of getting my money back. For the short time I was on the phone with the she sounded like she was in a pub even though she her she was in a meeting at 7 pm at night and asked us to stop calling her. please, if you have any self-respect, do not stay here. Communication and check in was a nightmare - I would not recommend. On arrival someone else was already in the pod we booked - someone answered initially on the number and said they would call back - then ignored all further calls and ghosted me! I found a number on a poster on and got a different staff member who asked us to check in to a different pod which was not an executive and did not have a mountain view. Once in there the bathroom was not clean and there was not enough loo roll and no plates. Hot tub and projector were great though once we were settled. This was one of the most upsetting experiences I’ve ever had while travelling. The pod was in a very poor state: water was leaking into the hot tub, there were leaves floating in it, and the whole place smelled strongly of smoke. It was dirty and completely unwelcoming. I tried calling the manager around 20 times before finally getting through, and when I raised my concerns, I was I should rather go home. I ended up in tears — my short annual leave was ruined, and I had to find somewhere else on the same day. To make matters worse, the couple staying in the pod next to ours also had to leave for an hour until a cleaner arrived, so clearly it wasn’t just me. I contacted Booking.com straight away, but they’ve me they can’t do anything until the property responds. It’s even more frustrating to see that the host has since added extra pictures to their listing — but still hasn’t replied to either of us. I have never written a bad review before, but this experience left me so devastated and distressed that I feel others need to be warned. Please be careful before booking.
