It's a mile walk to the beach. However, it's nice by the river on the way to the if you can't walk that far. It's well worth the walk if you can. Highly recommended. Loved this little place. The was bit crowded, but that didn't matter as we spent most of the time in the water! The water stays shallow for ages, so really good for kids. Can only comment on the dog walking which is excellent along the estuary and the view of the Snowdonia range is fantastic. For the costal path just follow the obvious signs. I walked to the "chapel in the sea" - St Cwyfan's, and 10k round trip. Lovely coastal walk, just watch out for tides, and some rocky sections.
