Robinsons pub in great location. Serving the usual robinsons ale, as you’d expect. I was on the Guinness and had several. You can stop over in a van if you eat and drink which is fair enough. I had the vegan bean chilli which filled me up. Weren’t too happy about me wanting to eat it in van but hey ho 😆 great little stop. Lovely old pub. Lovely Sunday lunch after a walk at Dinorwic quarry, we had two large Sunday lunches with 3 meats and the best Yorkshire pudding ever, as big as your head. Few drinks also, lovely fire roaring in the corner, great service. Stopped in for a roast dinner after a long hike in Snowdonia and couldn’t have picked a better spot! The pub has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and incredible views of the mountains. The roast dinner was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked meat, fluffy Yorkshire puddings, and rich, flavorful gravy. Everything tasted homemade and hearty, just what you want after a day outdoors. Friendly staff and a great selection of local ales made it even better. Highly recommend if you’re in the area! If you're after proper pub grub and want to go home full, this is the place for you. Good food, generous portions, great price and a fab pint to swallow it all down. Bloody brilliant! Absolutely amazing food. Portion sizes were huge, even the children's meal arrived in the same size bowl as the adults. Staff were wonderful. Cheesy Garlic bread which I didn't photo was sooo cheesy and delicious. Photos show Vegetarian Lasagne, Children's Sausage Mash Peas Gravy and Philly Cheese Steak. We were a large party of 10 and the food came quickly. Two of our party had the pie which had the fluffiest pastry I've ever seen and they didn't stinge on meat filling. Can't recommend more highly. Amazing pub, we were visiting Llanberis and wanted to grab some dinner before returning back to Conwy. We did a Google search and found Vaynol Arms visitors on 16th April 2025, The portions are huge! Fabulous food for adults and children best meal we have had out in a very long time! The staff are helpful, courteous and lovely, very welcoming atmosphere too. Will definitely return and recommend.
