Situated off the A55 at Junction 11 where the North Wales Expressway intersects the A5, Starbucks provides seated and take-out options to suit travellers' timetables. Starbucks is Starbucks so everywhere has good days and bad - the facility was clean, parking was good, accessibility looked good too. I recently visited a Starbucks drive-thru in the A55, Gwynedd LL57 4BO, Wales, and I must say, the experience with the drinks was an absolute delight. My friend ordered a Grande Iced Americano with signature espresso, white chocolate mocha sauce, vanilla syrup, and no water (full of ice), tailored precisely to their liking, as shown on the cup’s label picture. The drink was absolutely fabulous, with a perfect balance of flavours that hit all the right notes. I’ve tried ordering the same drink at other Starbucks branches, but none have managed to replicate the taste quite like this one. The staff here clearly know their craft, and the attention to detail in preparing the drink was spot on. It was served promptly in the morning, which was ideal for our early start. The drive-thru process was smooth, and the was friendly, making the whole experience a proper treat. I wish I could say the same for other Starbucks locations I’ve visited, but they’ve often fallen short when trying to recreate this specific order. The consistency at this Welsh branch is impressive, and it’s become a go-to spot for me and for my friends whenever I’m in the area. If you’re looking for a perfectly crafted coffee with a personal touch, this Starbucks branch is well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back for more of their brilliant drinks, they’ve set the bar high! By far, one of the listless starbucks Ive visited. Take away drinks served all wet with spill over. Had to wipe the cups before consuming it. Ran out of serviette tissue. Staff seems tired and not friendly. Would just like to shout out out Maisie with the blue hair at Starbucks Llandygai. Myself and a friend stopped at the drive thru just before spending the day together and Maisie was brilliant. She was so so friendly and chatty, considering the time in the morning. It made our morning and started our day off right. So thank you Maisie you are a star! Absolutely appalling at the drive-thru. A woman working at the One Stop Bangor Starbucks (next to Burger King) was unbelievably rude to me and my husband. From the moment we placed our order, she was sarcastic, unhelpful and clearly didn’t want to be there. She accused me of “breaking her till” just by scanning my gift card, then spoke down to me in a very aggressive tone. She made us feel embarrassed and humiliated in front of the car behind — loudly told her colleague to give their order out for free because we’d “made them wait,” and then poured our drinks down the sink in front of us before we’d even left the window. No apology, no professionalism, just attitude. We went straight to the Tesco Bangor Starbucks and the supervisor there was lovely, my card worked instantly, no problem at all. That just proves the issue wasn’t me, it was how we were treated. That same woman has been rude to me before too. She needs serious retraining, or honestly, a different job. I’ve submitted a full complaint to Starbucks directly, but people deserve to be warned. This was disgraceful customer service. Ordered a white mocha frappe and asked for (and was charged for 2 extra pumps) and from what I could taste I don’t think there was even any in there 🥲. Guy that served me was also quite rude. So all round a pretty meh experience I must say that i haven't yet had food from Starbucks. Their yesterday (17/09/25) was slow and one of our drinks got made with too much ice and tasted like a coffee slushy. The caramel frappe I had ordered was a Dairy-free option. After drinking the whole cup i started getting really bad stomach pains that usually come around when i've digested dairy. Im not sure if the worker grabbed the wrong milk or whipped cream? But i wont be returning as i was in a-lot of pain. The atmosphere of this Starbucks is beautiful though. Also the customer wasn't great. I received stares from one of the younger workers. Overall I would recommend being careful. Especially if a dietary restriction is involved. Shout out to Ms. Sue ❤️ for her fast, efficient, and friendly service. She consistently goes above and beyond, offering the best customer care with a bubbly personality that makes every experience pleasant. From the London franchise to the Wales branch, the team continues to maintain excellent standards of service. Having worked within the franchise myself (at a different location), I can confidently say their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is evident across the board. Good work Evie 👍🏻 keep up with your smiley and cheerful personality 😄 A big well done to the team—keep up the great work! 👏 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
