All locals very friendly. Excellent adult only with large level pea gravel pitches which are well spaced out and all have electric hook up and water taps. The large facilities are exceptional, with lounge area, laundry, toilets and showers, all spotless and lots of information on local places to visit, restaurants recommended. Next door is Chainbridge Honey Farm and Museum which are well worth the short walk through the bee garden. Also a short walk away is the Union Chain Bridge, the world’s first of its kind which crosses the River Tweed connecting Scotland and England. The is easily accessed being a short drive from the A1 and our pitch was identified on the board as we drove in. Shortly after arrival the owner came over and advised us of all the facilities and their location. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will definitely be back. This is a peaceful, well-run and friendly site. The toilet block was immaculate, and all the pitches tidy and level. A visit to the Chainbridge is a must, and there is a lovely walk alongside the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay on the way to Scotland. Excellent site, well run and spotlessly clean facilities. Patrick and Nina are so helpful and friendly. The only noise was the beautiful bird song especially in the morning and evening.
