A tranquil clean beach. Parking is limited but if you get creative there are options :-). Well worth a visit. This is a Geological paradise as well as a scenic and historic place to visit with family and pets In summer you might even get a Ice-cream even though the is quite remote and unspoiled We walk here regularly and parking is free You can walk down the coast to Goswick and Cheswick Wintery today but two surfers in the water Absolutely beautiful stretch of not a million miles away from Berwick on Tweed. Here is unspoilt, remote and made for exploring, totally suitable for families, dog walkers, beach-combers and nature lovers alike. Clean sand, rockpools, not over crowded by any means and not an amusement arcade insight, no chip shops, no kiss me quick hats, no gift shops - just pure bliss, just a totally natural lovely place. Terrific fresh powdery Golden Sand as far as the eye can see when low tide. It is difficult to access but is accessible with a link of parking spots and on foot unofficial paths cut through the dunes. Spectacular especially seahouses beach, cove cut into the cliff. The is full of interesting rock pools and differening levels of rock which host the perfect environment for barnacles and crabs. The waves were strong and fairly big. The sun set was pretty amazing as you could see a massive rain cloud coming from the sea. Of my visit this was by far the best place I'd seen on my short stay. Next time I would pay good money to stay in seahouses itself. Roads are partly farm access with passing places and few others seen from a distance on the shore. Please enjoy the wonder of this place. Amazing! Plenty of free parking, and such a peaceful, quiet, and unspoilt beach. Really feels like you've found a secret that no-one knows about! Great for a paddle, a walk, some rock-pooling or a refreshing dip in the sea. Loved staying in this area. Huge carpark for my van, with views and area to die for. Stunning Lovely dog friendly beach. The tide was out, so the was huge. Lots of room for everyone. Would recommend. lovely clean beach, great for dog walking.
