Very nice the Belhaven best was very pleasant. The Haddock and chips were very agreeable as well. Best of all, though, was the view over the sea from the tables outside the bar. Very freindly place with a warm and convivial host, the food was also outstanding. Great peaceful walks with a great views of the sea. We stayed at Haven holliday camp x they had a fantastic firework display. Lucky us x Had a brilliant round of Mini Golf here the other day! Well worth the £3 each for a full 18 holes with fantastic views! The prices in the bar were more than reasonable too! ☺️ STUNNING!! Sorry but you know when something day "home made" and well it's clearly not..the kids nuggets proper chicken breast and battered just like the fish..could have sat there all afternoon just watching the waves and such a cosy pub for members and public alike. Seen the Sunday carvery looked soo yummy too. We visited as a small group, on 12 October: we received a very warm welcome on arrival and enjoyed playing the course, benefitting from a day with no breeze! It is an interesting course and the greens were in superb condition. After the round, we enjoyed a hearty two course meal and would not hesitate to recommend the small group package to anyone. Well mantinence course but the only thing if you require a buggy you will have to play before 13.30 Ate here this afternoon. The were so welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely return next time I'm in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Yeah ok,, went in for food, it is what it is, food ok ,,to pretty good really and to be fair quality to price is good.. I would recommend if you want good reasonable food..at a good price maybe i sound harsh, but yes I would recommend.. Lovely walks across the golf course to the beach. Beautiful views on the way. Went here for lunch with our family. We had such a delicious lunch and great value. But what really stood out for us was the staff. They were so and welcoming especially with our kids. Can’t wait to come back again. We stopped here during a hike, arrived at 14:55, and spent a few of minutes looking over the buffet. As we were about to order, a member approached to say food service was closing at 15:00. We checked the time — it was 15:01. We asked if we could take what was already out and leave quickly. Everything was prepared and on display. She refused outright. No flexibility, no explanation, no interest in a reasonable request. Technically within her rights, perhaps. But not the kind of attitude you’d expect in hospitality — especially when the difference was one minute. Please do better. We went for our evening tonight 29th May 2025. Firstly I have to say the Tracy and Finlay were excellent and first class service by both. 2 of us had the roast of the day ( turkey) 3 veg , mashed potatoes and roast potatoes with home made yorkshire pudding . The third meal was a penne chicken with garlic and garlic bread followed by 3 excellent desserts 5 * service and food. My stepnanna and step grandad ordered food for themselves and their son and had to pay quite a bit of money for it! And they didn’t even eat it because it was disgusting, the taste was not good, sorry but they didn’t enjoy it. Thoroughly recommend Sunday dinner and food throughout the week. But be aware to try and book to avoid disappointment. The are so and helpful. The food is fantastic. Home cooked roast and home made cheesecake. Loved it ! The may be nice but beware of some of the disgustingly rude golfers who, while I was Innocently walking the coastal path well away from the golf course ~ yesterday I was shouted at :~ ‘get out ~ you don’t belong here’ and gesticulating violently with their arms ~ these two definitely need to go back to charm school and get their money back ~ spoiled the afternoon for many of us having to sample these two twonks unacceptable behaviour ‼️ Follow the public path that runs along the cliff edge and adjacent to the Haven holiday park, up through the golf course to the rail bridge. Views for Miles at this point. Photos do it, no justice. Across the bridge and up the street brings you out at the retail park (5 minutes max on foot) where you'll find McDonald's, Home Bargains, Iceland, KFC, Greggs, Morrisons and more. Great place for a Xmas lunch. Gorgeous views over the sea. Comfortable place, nice bar. Fantastic, and really nice Xmas dinner.
