We stopped here for 3 nights a few weeks ago and fortunately didn't book the for any longer. Starting with the good bits, the location is a great base for exploring the local area and the road in (ironically what others complain about) was absolutely fine, you just need to know how to drive. Our favourite moment was the wildlife, we saw many rabbit, birds, and a couple of deer which came right up the the on the first night. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. We stopped in 32, so for anyone else stopping there specifically, may the odds be in your favour: The entrance & decking - the entrance to the is via the decking which in all honesty, was sketchy. The decking has rotted boards which my foot nearly went though on multiple occasions, and nails/ screws sticking up out of the decking and supporting fence. So if you fancy a nice peaceful wilderness experience with a Tetanus vaccine on the side, win win!) Inside the - generally it was okay, a lot of the beds were crammed in to fit as many people in as possible. Our main problem was the cleanliness. Cobwebs and mould all over the ceiling isn't great for those who like to breathe. The bathroom you could tell was almost brand new, but throughout the whole stay stunk of fish...not the " at one with nature" experience you expect. As mentioned earlier, a key redeeming factor was the wildlife and conservation efforts the team have put in. Cudos, until you let off fireworks... Didn't see any wildlife after that, I wonder why? Final productive portion of this review will be that there's a circular road, make it one way! It's a single lane gravel track down a sloped hill in places. It needs to be, and can easily be, a one way system Overall we won't be returning, or unfortunately recommending 32, I hope the other lodges are better. Otherwise, plan a fair few day trips 😞 Absolutely love this site for a holiday in Pembrokeshire. We've been many times. Beautiful spot only a 20 minute walk from Broadhaven beach. Lovely little chalet on a secluded, green site with gorgeous views. Perfect for families or couples. Well run. Enough distance between chalets to feel private. Perfect! Friendly caring staff, family run for 3 generations. Beautiful peaceful environment with open field in front of the lodge. 15 minutes walk through the woodland path to Broad Haven beach. The sandy beach is really calm and gorgeous. Our dog enjoyed running around and it's very safe. I was able to see the beautiful sunrise from the and sunset at the sea. The Timber Hill is now our new favourite place where we will definitely go again. Amazing place to stay. Will happily come back! We stayed in the Parkfields House, which accommodates 8 people comfortably. The place has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and a lounge. It also has fantastic views all around and ample garden space. There is also a hot tub which was a bonus. The complex was kept very clean and tidy. Matt and his team were always on hand if we needed anything. There was also a games room and a laundry room onsite too. Its a perfect place for a getaway, whether you are looking for aomehting quiet and relaxed or adventurous, this place is excellent. Situated close to the beach and also perfect if you want to go for a hike. We love staying here. Have stayed for many years. Very dog friendly and is my dogs favourite place. She gets so excited when she is here. Love how it’s wildlife friendly with many animals and birds.
