Its Possibly the nicest chippy we've been too. 110% best curry sauce ive ever had. It was incredible. I was advised to try the goujons and WOW. Not only were the delicious, I got loads of them. So reasonably priced for the amazing food you get. My wife got the Hake and loved it. The staff were so friendly and polite. Parking is free, we had no issues and the views are stunning. What's not to love?? Don't get the large cod & unless you have a very healthy appetite! Excellent & chips, great service. My only caveat would be that I wish they didn't plonk the down on the chips, the oil drains off the and onto the chips, making them greasy; or, drain the for longer to remove more oil. Best & I have had in a long while 👍 I was served today by a lovely lady called Marielle, only popped in for a iced coffee and ended up also having a lovely chat and a Blondie cake (definitely recommend having one of these). Fresh, Flavorful Seafood in a Great Harbour Spot We had a fantastic meal here — everything was fresh, generous, and full of flavor. There’s a great selection of and seafood, with dishes that are simple but incredibly well-executed. The scallops and cod cheeks were amazing starters, and the flounder as a main was cooked perfectly. For dessert, the walnut cake with vanilla ice cream was a real highlight — warm, comforting, and delicious. Portions are generous, the service is fast and friendly, and the harbour location adds a lovely touch (though there’s no real sea view). A nice bonus: they also sell local hiking guidebooks, which is great if you’re exploring the area. Booking is recommended. The food was very good but we were left stood a while whilst they cleared a table, which we'd booked and naturally this made the toddler get impatient. Although the food was excellent, a little more attention to detail. The stew was nice, but no bowl for mussel shells was brought or the prawn shells and no finger bowl to wash in and nobody came to ask if everything was OK so no opportunity to ask other than leaving the table and going inside for one, which is easier said than done with a toddler who's just tucking in.
