We were staying at the nearby Little Haven retreat campsite so could manage the two mile walk down with relative ease and even threw in a short loop along the coastal path where the scenery was stunning, well worth the extra work involved. The was among the best I've been on, I suggest you sit to the right as you look from the shore as the left soon becomes shaded in the afternoon. As the goes out the rock-pools are excellent, if you round the headland to the right at lower tides there is a very deep well shaped rock-pool that had lots of small fish in, then theres a deep cave and plenty of rocks for climbing which the kids loved. If you completely round the headland theres a very private and lovely that can't be accessed any other way, watch the doesn't cut you off though. If you round the left hand headland there's some deep water surrounded by rocks, excellent for snorkeling and diving. Back at the there are two splendid pubs, The Castle has the sun all day and the better view, but The Swan is a better pub for my money and you can sit on the wall with your pint and the view is as good. This little has become one of my favourites and I hope to return one day. I did like the little village, the little and the walk along the coast , very nice area and view from cliffs Tiny little and no lifeguard but magical both when the is in, plenty of people swimming (easy to walk into the sea from the slipway without having to cross the pebbles). When the is out walk around to Broadhaven and see the caves. Simply amazing. We love Little Haven and the is so cute 🥰 I am also no hero but I saved a crab that was laying on its back. #notallsuperheroeswearcapes Cute little place. Very small pebbly beach. A few great pubs. Dog friendly. If you want about 3 pubs and places to eat, along with a superb beach, this is for you. You can hire kayaks and boards here. It wasn't really that busy at the time I went, about 12.30. £1.50 for an hour, £3 for 3hrs stay at the carpark. This was more than enough for my needs. Other stay times are available, and are shown by the pay and display machine Lovely place.Location is beautiful.I can recommend for a family holiday.fantastic coastal path walks,good pub food and seafood. Really super at low with lots of rock climbing and rock pools to explore, a big cave and vast quiet sandy you can get across to in low tide. Good size car park but hellish drive down a steep (20%) descent to get there from Broad Haven. We came on a rainy July day at low - was such a great expanse of for little ones to run around, great for dogs and lovely Little Rock pools. Husband loved climbing up to the cave too! Great little village to potter around with cafe and pub etc and a decent sized car park. Worth downloading pay by phone app before going if you don’t have change!
