St. Govan's Inn

Pembroke, United Kingdom Bed & breakfast

One of the Best Places To Visits in Bosherston Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A proper pub, lots of rock climbers in there. Pretty good beer selection and the food is very good. Options somewhat limited for veggies but the chickpea curry was very nice. We went in 3 times during our stay in the area! Jasper, the young barmen, was very polite, friendly & poured a great pint! We were camping, so I can't comment on the rooms! I only had a bowl of chips, but the food that was coming out of the kitchen looked great! 👍😎 I will definitely pay them a visit next time I'm in the area! 😁 We were passing by and were not really hungry, but we had run out of water and they very kindly filled our bottle, really appreciate the gesture! The place looked very popular as the garden was full and a great number of seats inside were occupied too. The menu looked hearty and there were several beers on selection. Excellent food and drink and dog friendly too! Parking is a pain: park at the car park up the road and walk. There is parking at the back for 2 or 3 cars but it’s very tight getting in/out the drive. Had a short stay at St. Govan's Inn to visit the surrounding coastline for a bit of photography. Lovely little place, much better than staying in a modern hotel a few miles away. This place is right in the middle of the countryside yet very close to the coastline, with many places of interest near by, like Broad Haven South Beach, which is ideal for nighttime astrophotography as well spending the day at the beach. There are also some amazing views a bit further up the coastline, like the Green Bridge of Wales and Elegug Stacks (to name a few). As for the Inn itself, it felt like a home from home. Very friendly and informative staff who can answer many questions about the area. The food in the restaurant is superb. Very generous portions and really tasty. Make sure to reserve a table for your evening meal, it gets busy... For very good reason. Prices are good too! Rooms are cozy and comfy, although I did have trouble sleeping as I have a damaged spine and the bed was just a little too firm for me personally... But I still slept like a log! Also had a lovely view across the field to the church to wake up to in the morning. It was our first time within the as a family and after all day of traveling and exploring we just wanted to stop by and have little food for kids and drink. As weve approached the bar we were told that we can't sit down anywhere within indore and there's no food as we need to stop to think...this was bit confusing as it wasnt that busy. So disappointed as place looked nice its why we have stopped. We came here for dinner and enjoyed the bacon and leek pie and scampi and chips. The food was all nice and the atmosphere great. The staff were kind and chatty too. We enjoyed our trip thank you. Had a lovely dinner at St Govan’s Inn- Watched the football with friends and the staff couldn’t have been lovelier! Special thanks to Jeremy for being so kind. Such a lovely place to go after a long walk or for a good meal when camping !
