Amazing venue. All looking sprightly and fresh so I'm assuming it's fairly new. Plenty of free parking, which is good because it's on the edge of an industrial estate so unlikely many will be walking in. Lots of delicious draft beers available including a couple of AF. I particularly enjoyed the Lagerita as it was really refreshing and the sun was blasting when we visited. My favourite of the afternoon was Dos Mio! A with jalapeno and lime, unusual and a little reminiscent of a strong Ginger with it's spiceyness, but with a clear aroma and taste of jalapeno. Bought a hat and some cans in the gift shop which had some very well stocked fridges. One minor complaint is that is wasn't clear which parts of the place were open at whet times from the online profile, e.g. bar open at 3pm, shop closes at 4pm and food starts at 5pm. Only a small gripe but had we had this information we would have gone a little later and had some food. Great place though. Totally recommend the place and can't wait to go back again. Excellent tap room which serves food. There is also a shop on site which also sells merchandise. Seating inside and out and very quick service on the food. Plenty of parking available. You can book a table if busy but note this is only for 3 hours. We did not book and we were fine even though plenty of people in. Excellent place, spent a relaxing Sunday here. Good unique beers and nice staff, the vermont sessions was like being on holiday.. However, one major point the chips were SO SALTY, I felt physically sick afterwards. I love burger and chips and have it in many restaurants (with salt) , never had to leave food until this experience. Pleas let us salt our own chips, until then it is only 4 stars out of 5 spot. I was recommended it by a few people after travelling from overseas and I'm very pleased I went along as part of a wee day trip to Melrose. Visited the brewery and taproom for their Borderlands Festival. It was a set up and lovely venue. Staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely keen to go back. when it’s good, but just had too many issues over the years. Kitchen always shuts pretty early and the staff make you feel like asking for a is a huge imposition. Such a shame as and by all accounts the food is (never managed to actually order any), but sadly there are better places to go that are much more welcoming. Amazing food here and their famous top-class beer. The alcohol free options are the best I've ever had. We're lucky to have this in the Borders. The staff are really professional, friendly and helpful. We love coming here and would highly recommend. Travelled over from Glasgow with a bunch of gals from the Glasladies Society. It was super easy to get to the taproom on the train and it's a very short walk from the station. Had a lovely afternoon on the sunny patio working our way through their fabulous line-up of beers, complemented with a selection of food. (portions are huge!) and service from friendly bar staff. All in all a day out and will absolutely go again.
