Plenty of free parking and stunning , if you have time go through the little gate on the other side of the road and walk up over the hill for even more extensive across the borders area of this beautiful location. We saw yellow hammers and Buzzards on our recent visit. Spectacular view. Worth the trip up. The are breathtaking and you can see so much from the river Tweed and the mountains in the distance. There is a gated section that has a few seats to spend some time soaking in the view. Plenty of waste bins. Accessible by car. There is space to park a few cars. We walked to Scott’s View from Melrose, the walk was well worth it. Plenty to see on the way and an amazing view. As I had expected there are a lot of drone shots from this point and you can’t get a shot of the river bend these days unless you have a drone. Well worth the walk or a drive and a photo. Autumn and a bit of mist with nice morning or evening light would make it really special. Stunning with many benches to sit and take in all the surroundings. Nice little car park to pull up and there's a bin to put your rubbish in. Beautiful walk down the hills. We didn't just pop past, we stayed the night! And wow, what spectacular of the Eildon Hills and the Tweed Valley... and a great place to stop in a motorhome or, as we did, a roof tent and watch an amazing sunset. There are no facilities here, although there are rubbish bins. No signs anywhere that said we couldn't stay :) There are also some great walks, and just above the viewpoint on what is called Bemersyde Hill you can walk up to a standing stone that marks tye summit... but it's no Munro and not even a Corbett 🤣 Absolutely breathtaking views! There is a small car park that is easy to pop on and off of from the road and a few little trails if you fancy a hike. It was a gorgeous sunny day when we stopped by! A great location to enjoy Iconic borders landscape as Sir Walter Scott. What a magnificent view :) Breathtaking view. You'd want to stay the whole day.
