Our instructor, Gregor, was an absolute gentlemen and offered loads of helpful and constructive advise to all of us. We all managed to hit a target, just some of us hit more than others. All keen to come back again! What a great day out this was. Our instructor Tam was great. And all the staff were so lovely. The breakfast was excellent! We both had never held a gun before, but Hugh our instructor was fantastic. We had a brilliant time really enjoyed our lesson. We will definitely be back for more lessons. Great instruction from David and his colleague, made it really accessible for everyone in the group and a nice bit of food to finish things off! Love it, The best clay venue in the north of England and Scotland. It’s 1.5 hours to drive up from Newcastle, worth every minute. No queues because there are literally hundreds of traps and dozens of stands…. All that and a fab cafe. We went for the clay and was a fantastic experience. We were a team of 11 people and we got split in two teams. Some of the team members were absolute beginners but learned the technique very fast. We stayed for lunch and the food was great. Highly recommended. Had a fantastic day air riffle shooting, it was our first time and will definitely be going back to try the clay pigeon x the instructor was great fun and we had a real laugh with him x we had a meal in the cafe afterwards and it was absolutely lovely and plenty of it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend going for something different to try. 5 of us for clay lessons. We had Gregor who was fantastic: patient, very likeable and very generous with his time (and Bisley’s wasted clays). Superb setup with all manner of targets. Don’t go anywhere else - they are highly professional.
