Absolutely fantastic place. Excellent selection of drinks and food. Room was absolutely spotless and well equipped. We were doing a bike race early in the morning so can't review the breakfast however, Holly was so helpful and set us up with a breakfast bag to go that was absolutely loaded and really got us through the ride! Holly and the chap who was behind the bar (didn't catch his name) working that evening were so lovely and really couldn't have done enough, even though they were rushed of their feet nothing was too much trouble. They even had bike storage available which was an added bonus. Would definitely come back and stay here again! Stayed earlier this week and what a fantastic place to stay. The staff are just wonderful, making you feel like you are friends from the moment you arrive. The food is lovely, the ambience cosy and the beds comfy. I would highly recommend. Cant comment on rooms as only came for a dinner. The food was so delicious. In fact truffled wild mushrooms I've had for a starter was the most delicious food ive had in a very long time. Although we couldn't manage the main (as really full after a big starter) I will definitely return when in the area again. As for the location, it's a beautiful, unspoilt nature that is a bliss for the soul.
