Bring a freezer bag and ice blocks so you can bring a tub home. The milking machine was fascinating and the cows were gorgeous! Very nice ice with good parking and space outside to relax in the sunshine. Will go here again. Best ice we've had in a while! Lovely grounds and lots of space for kids to enjoy too. Lovely place, lovely creamy icecream and very interesting to see the automated cow milking facilities. Edit March 2022: the automated milking machine appears to be away now, I think there are a lot more cows now though so it possibly could not handle the extra capacity. Ice was still lovely and it was great to sit out on the lawn in the sun. Loved it! Seeing all the Jersey cows then the delicious ice for afters, glad we stopped by!! Third visit here.Kids love watching the cows in the big shed(they do stink though).Lovely ice and nice setting off the main road.Good size car park and we will definitely return. Go for the ice cream, it's so good and generously portioned. The kids loved seeing how the cow's were cared for and I was amazed that there's such a thing as a milking robot. The place could do with more heating in winter but then in eating ice in the cold. Overall a great little place that we hope goes from strength to strength.
