Oh, this place has so much character! An old Villa in the hills behind the Riviera. C'mon, negative reviewers! Yes this is not newly built and yes I wouldn't go there on a biz trip - just go to a corporate hotel without soul instead. But if you're out for leasure, this is absolutely a treat! The building creaks as it should, the classic blinds do their job, the rooms are spotless clean and the proprietress is super friendly. We got the 6th star bonus by having a thunderstorm moving through that night on a warm summer night. The show couldn't have been better! An old villa in a gorgeous park, at night, lightning and thunder coming down on it 😄 Very nice and friendly people who run this place! Because of covid they were not able to offer some amenities at the time I stayed, wish I would have been able to read that on the website, probably missed it. But overall a great place, very pretty from the outside. They should just change the lightbulbs in the rooms to make it nice and warm and that would make a big difference. I recommend to stay. Beautiful stay at this gorgeous relais! Rooms are spacious, comfortable and classy, very clean. Bathroom was modern. Delicious Italian breakfast! Hosts are extremely kind and helpful.
