I ordered my regional favorite,  Bouchée à la reine and he ordered the steak with creamy pan sauce and potatoes.  Hubby said the potatoes were some of the best he's ever had - crispy and flavorful. My chicken in cream sauce over puff pastry was perfectly executed. The atmosphere is warm and the service is very welcoming. We did fine in English. Very  gemütlich.  Recommended by Michelin Guide. Our family of five descended on Au Raison d’Or at lunchtime with no reservation, and were accommodated and looked after wonderfully well, thank you! The ambience of the place and the beautiful Christmas decorations were memorable, and we are most grateful for this special moment. We visited this restaurant with a big family group and had such a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, all the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming to us. We really appreciated how much care they put into every detail — from the service to the atmosphere, everything was thoughtfully done. And the food? Absolutely amazing! Every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. You can tell there’s a lot of love and passion behind what they do. We truly loved our time here and hope more people can discover this gem.
