There are two tracks, one is a modern Alpine Coaster which runs on rails and does not require you to take the chairlift. This one is slick, fast and pulls some serious G's in the corners. It's an intense ride but it never feels unsafe. The same can't be said for the other 'luge', which you can reach by using the chair lift and which requires you to put a sled on the track yourself. This ride is old school, rough and feels quite rickety and out of control but is a lot of fun nevertheless (if slightly hard on the back). I found the price was a bit steep but justified overall. We visited on a weekday during the summer holidays but there was hardly any wait. Parking was challenging though. We arrived it was closed. Luckily we saw a board stating it would open at 1pm. My 5year old daughter and me loved the ‘luge’ a lot and went down 6 times! The only downside were the waiting times that went up to over 30 minutes. Great for the toboggan, chairlift and for the walks up into the mountains. The only negative was the queue for tickets, despite being online in advance we still had to join the main (long queue for paper tickets) it was very busy when we went. The toboggan itself is very exciting and hurts if you are silly and go too fast around the bends. Which I did. Not complaining, we all need a bit of danger. Definitely recommend this. A very fun Luge. I would highly recommend doing the older track as you can race with the other track and it is longer and faster in my experience!
