Great beach. There's plenty of shaded areas thanks to the trees, toilets which are clean with soap available and a bar to get a drink. Good food, good beer, nice friendly staff, ideal lakeside location Lovely place to visit ,Lake is warm and clean. Marvellous restaurant 👌 fantastic place, clean and peaceful and free Huge expanse of very clean beach fronted lake and grassed area. Plenty of shade for the kids and dogs welcome which made a nice change and our pup lived having a refreshing swim. Probably our favourite swimming lake and we have been to nearly ten. Country location, lovely beach and large, sandy swimming area. Also plenty of grass and shade if needed. Great little restaurant with helpful staff and great music (the owner and chef is a bit 80s buff: Duran Duran, The Police, Simple Minds, Tears for Fears etc). The toilets are clean and accessible. Look forward to returning...tomorrow! Pretty spot small beaches one busy one quiet. Great for playing. We enjoy the summer triathlon, cycle, swim and pizza. Great place with great facilities for children swimming,paddle boards, play park,pedalo’s,restaurant with toilets.What’s not to enjoy.
