Anyone who remembers the flood from 20 years ago and visits this beautiful will now be enchanted by its beauty while walking through the charming streets. The magical place combines a pictoresque harbor, original historical architecture and superb nature, and great ice cream shops A totally must do if you're in the county. This is a truly magnificent and amazing iconic coastal location on the Cornish Coast at Boscastle. It is one of the most stunning locations in the UK and the walk up to the coast is amazing and breathtaking and the enclosed mouth of the river at the top is just jaw droppingly beautiful and and there are spectacular to enjoy of the coast and also back towards the village. The itself is also amazing with stunning quaint buildings and cottages to see. In the National Trust site you can see some interesting parts with regards to famous storm that hit the in 2004 and its effects and there is a little bit of background about the history of the village. The walks to the coast are very picturesque and breathtaking and very easy going and relaxing and there are many places to relax along the way to take in the views. There is a cafe selling a variety of refreshments at reasonable prices and there is a selling a nice range of souvenirs at reasonable prices. Overall this is a thoroughly beautiful and picturesque place to visit and makes for a wonderful and delightful day out. Definitely well worth a visit whilst in the area of the North Cornwall coast. This is one of the best places I have seen . It took me 2 hours to come here but I am so happy . The is very cute and full.of legends . It is constructed between two hills in a little cove . It uses natural surrounding to protect itself and it shines with botanic life . Stunning cliff top - don't miss the dragons breadth - at the right time water gushes through a blow hole and make a roar! The wall is exception ally steep and a long drop if the tide is out! We spotted seals fishing for their dinner just outside the wall. The coastguard tower at the top of the hill is a good walk but worth it for the awesome over the local cliffs. National Trust is free if you have an annual pass and is not too far away - the town has some great fossil and mineral shops aswel as plenty serving ice cream and local delicacies. Amazing place , we had a lovely day but I was a bit disappointed when looking for national trust car park or toilet! Beautiful place to visit 5 stars... Great place to visit with National Trust Cafe & (no NT parking), we were located at Ilfracombe, so round trip over 100 miles. roads can be challenging if you have a large motor home wide or long over 6m as you approach the with passing places. Good in the about £1.00/hour (2023) weather for us was poor, but still worth the trip. We used our EV no charging that we could see at Boscastle. This needs to be considered in the future, hence only 4☆. Very helpful staff Boscastle and vallency valley walk takes you through boscastle village, coastal path and river valley. Great walk and offers some amazing views. Lovely tearoom and National Trust shop. The bookshop, in a separate building, has a great selection of book which can be purchased at the shop. Great products and very friendly staff. An amazing little and village- well worth a visit! Sat for ages on the rocks over looking the estuary and walked up to the hill top lookout. Fabulous and history. Ponies as well Boscastle is such a beautiful little village. Has some great amenities. Its was lovely to sit by the stream and following it down to the harbour.
