I had an incredible pie here. It was surprisingly full of people being out of season on a Sunday. Cool atmosphere and character. Much needed warm food and a pint after a tough walk. I loved this pub. Looks inside and out, good range of proper beers and the food is reasonably priced and homemade in the best possible way. The staff that dealt with us were two student-age females and they were an absolute credit to the establishment. Really polite, professional and accommodating. Boscastle is a lovely place too. Really highly recommended all round. Booked for a table of 6 & was put right next to the toilets which didn't provide a pleasant dining experience. We were in the main bar area where the bar & pool area was. We asked if there was a possibility of moving tables and was met with a very abrupt reply and suggested we can be put outside instead. We ended up leaving as we didn't feel comfortable or welcomed which is a shame as we had enjoyed it previously. If we were sat in the restaurant area we would have stayed for dinner. What a find, a warm and friendly welcome in a busy pub. Although we didn't eat, we saw plenty of food coming out and it all looked and smelt delicious, and it was only empty plates heading back to the kitchen. We would definitely go back for a meal if we were in the area again. A beautiful little cafe with outdoor seating, the blueberry cake slice was massive and tasty, service with a smile :) I may of only had burger , chips and salad , but it was quality produce ! I have never tasted a burger as good . Even the salad and dressing were to die for , I could have just had a plate of that ! I missed out on the specials board , I didn’t notice it , but I did notice the specials being served to other tables ,and they looked . All meals that were served , were really good portions. Well worth the money . My meal was around £15 Pub, atmosphere! Food! 10/10 We always look forward to coming back here every time we visit Boscastle. children and dog friendly.
