Traditional cornish pastes are amazing, made on site, none of this brought in produce like some of the other bakeries in Looe. Wow what a traditional bakery! sourdough, doughnuts, buns and pasties, nice big sizes and super fresh and soft. Reasonable prices, good not to feel ripped off. Will be back :) Beef pasty with everything but the beef! I was looking forward to a cornish pasty in cornish Looe but unfortunately I was left a little deflated. The pasty was a reasonable price for a large pasty in a tourist spot (5.50). It was filling and had delicious pastry but there was barely any beef! Possibly 6 small pieces amongst an onion and swede filling. A pint of swede and onions wrapped in pastry. In summary I feel that they are taking advantage of cornish tradition and a prominent position at the start of the main High Street in favour of profit. Sad times. We buy our scones pancakes they are always fresh and they have a reasonable choice. The Cornish pasties lovely and we'll seasoned. Staff are pleasant and because we're a regular they know our takeaway coffee order off by heart On holiday in early October, We made a stop off in Looe and decided to pop into Martin's for a takeaway snack, Absolutely Fantastic pasties enjoyed near the Harbour, with a pumpkin Latte, and we took some of the scones . Staff were friendly and helpful and the window was full of treats which were difficult to decide upon. We'll definitely be sampling more of the delights next October! This was place lovely bakery with cakes. I sat in and had a nice Cornish pasty which was it was nice and hot. i also had a plain scone with jam and cream and was amazing. It was nice as we didn’t have to eat for a table we sat straight down and there was a member of staff they came to our table and took our order straight away. The good then came out so quick and was so fresh it was amazing. Excellent pasties! Went back next day for more( to take home!). The sausage rolls and the range of buns and cakes we bought were really top quality - tasty, fresh & generous in size. The lady we were served by on both occasions was really lovely - friendly, courteous and engaging!
