Called in here on way back from elgin as the reviews were good and was not wrong Food was lovely, then went onto Falkirk wheel just down the road We had a gathering of the family. It was exceptional Real disappointing guys, we visited in May & had fantastic meal, this time!!! My steak pie could have fitted on side plate, we had decided on a dessert & 15min later we eventually got asked if we wanted to see menu, no chance!! Come on guys Food was delicious. Staff friendly, with good service. Not too expensive. Dropped in for a bit of lunch. Great service, food and atmosphere. Very reasonably priced - catch of the day was huge!!! Will definitely come back. Real oasis - thank you. We ate here tonight and had a great meal. The food was very good as was the service. The waitress was very friendly and helpful as was the gentleman working there. The restaurant is small and cozy which I always appreciate. Would definitely recommend! We were looking for a place too eat and googled the Inn. Fantastic place, great portions of food. Fish n chips and Haggis / Black pudding bites, best yet. Everyone was friendly and staff were amazing. I’ve been meaning to post this for a while — it’s been a busy time since the wedding, but I couldn’t forget to leave a review for the Railway Inn and Platform Lounge. We had our wedding, reception, and food here, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were incredible, and the manager was so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. The food was amazing, the setup was beautiful, and everything ran smoothly.
