Wine was reasonably priced and adequately pleasant. The four of us enjoyed immensely , helped by Vivienne who is a gem. Great Food, wonderful service. Best Chinese around. We had a family meal here, the staff were 1st class, was brilliant and the food was outstanding with generous portion. The was very clean and the toilets were spotless. Will definitely be going there again in new year . The was too expensive, cold, and not cosy at all. The waiting staff were polite and smiling, but that was the only good thing. The menu had repeating pages which was confusing. The prices do not correspond to the quality and quantity of the food. All the dishes arrived unexpectedly quickly, as if they had been reheated in a microwave oven. The chow mein noodles were dry, and the chicken tasted smoky. The egg fried rice was not hot at all, had almost no eggs and vegetables, and was overcooked and dry. The food is good, is fantastic. Only down side is the food doesn’t seem to be cooked fresh when you order as it’s ready too quickly. Also a bit expensive. We had take away and it wasn’t very nice. There was a lot of burnt bits or Teflon from the pan mixed in. We order duck and pancakes and got what I can only describe as mystery meat in foil. It was really disappointing. Really enjoyed a takeaway from here on Thursday. Staff were friendly, polite and professional, you can tell that they put alot of work into keeping the shop very clean. We will definitely be back again to try the full experience. I recommend booking in advance. The menu is vast and I look forward to trying many more dishes including the pan fried sea Bass and the stir fried scallops with Pak Choi.
