It was very windy the day we visited, making it too cold to fully enjoy the beach. Despite the weather, the offers breathtaking views of the coastline and remains a stunning destination with its expansive sandy shores and dramatic rock formations. Beautiful bay with castle upstream. Well worth a visit. The large car park is monitored by ANPR so you are paying to stay...even just to admire the view. I noted several vans for ice cream & coffees , public toilets. Will visit again on a nicer warmer day! Dog friendly, easy accessible and lots of parking spaces. £2.00 for two hours. Coffee van nearby selling dog ice cream🍦❤️🙌 Great views and perfect place for a walk with your 🐶🐾. This is a beautiful with miles of sand as long as it's not high tide. Some of the sand is very muddy even though I went it very low tide. The car park itself is challenging and the pay machines dodgy although parking fees are reasonable as about a pound an hour. . There is not a single waste bin anywhere for rubbish or dog bags. I took my dog bag in the car as far as Llantwit before I found a waste bin. This would put me off going to that again. Lovely mix of pebble with rock pools and a sandy bay. Both the children and the dog absolutely loved it. Nice to have the ice cream van available in January too! Beautiful with an interesting rock formation! I went with the dogs and was able to park in the car park nearby which was easily accessible and not far at all from the beach. Lovely area lots of space on the beach. I did go on a Monday morning so it was very quiet which for someone with anxiety was great 🤣. The dogs loved it and it was nice to see the area. Did see some people on horses in the distance on the which was lovely to see but just as a warning in case you take your dogs 🥰🐕. Overall lovely and nice and quiet! Great place to go when the weather is nice. Check the tide times as not much when the tide is in. Good rocks and walk on coastal path though. Parking £2 per 2 hours. Dogs welcome I like to go back there for a quick reset. great place for walks. no crowds Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
