The place itself is brilliant inside and out when the food arrived it looked really good, unfortunately everything but the roast potatoes were cold,it spoiled what should have been a lovely meal, I did mention it so hopefully they will take this on board and it won't happen again Friendly and helpful staff. The food was served quickly and tasted great. Group of 9 of us. It was nice and clean Very large carpark Not especially easy to find up a little road we drove passed it twice. Just moved to Bridgend & found this fabulous place, so called down new yrs eve, are amazing, so friendly with a warm welcome, atmosphere & drinks, a must to visit. Nice meal of a Friday evening, not too busy but a nice atmosphere. The food was served in good time and was tasty. Good food, music and friendly staff. Dog friendly in the bar and beer garden. Will definitely revisit Had a lovely welcome, the pub looked as it was lunch time it was fairly quiet in the bar. Only drawback, there isn't a large selection of alcohol free beers, I was told the pub was in negotiations to get more in.. All in all a nice visit. 😁⁸ Have been here a couple of times now and have no complaints! are always very friendly and the food is delicious. Claire the manager is an absolute star, booked a table for my son's birthday last minute and she decorated by the table for us with balloons and banners. Went for lunch today and it did not disappoint. As it was Sunday only Sunday dinner was available. I had a beef dinner and the beef was cooked perfectly. The food was presented very well on a nice hot plates. The two diners with me had turkey and thoroughly enjoyed it too. Our son was the only one to have a desert so I can’t comment on them but he enjoyed his eton mess. Waiting were pleasant and attentive but we were told that they’re usually packed on a Sunday so in future I’ll be booking a table and we’re definitely going back. the is attentive, the prices are normal for such large portions and choice food and drink. were very friendly and was an enjoyable place to be lovely place to go for food, we stayed for hours and it was a environment! Came here as all the adverts said food and live football got here at 1830 on a Saturday to find they aren’t doing food and they’ve rugby on every screen and no football, gutted We recently held my father’s wake at The west house, and I can’t thank the team enough for their kindness and support. They were incredibly helpful, making a difficult day just that little bit easier. The service was thoughtful, the atmosphere was warm, and everything was well taken care of. I truly appreciate all their effort and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The west house for any gathering. Thank you again!
