One of the Best Places To Visits in Niederhorbach Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. I am writing this follow-up review because it was impossible to respond directly to your reply to my previous review. My aim is to clarify my experience and ensure future guests are not misled when choosing your hotel. 1st point — Room cleaning: It is true that there is a sign in the room stating that, for sustainability reasons, rooms will be cleaned from the second day onwards. However, I still fail to understand how it is unsustainable to at least make the beds daily. Changing linens every day is unnecessary, but simply making the beds has nothing to do with sustainability. When paying €200 per night, I expect to return to a tidy room with the bed made — this was not the case. We stayed three nights and during our entire stay, no one came to clean the room at all. Furthermore, to avoid misleading future guests, you should clearly inform them of this policy at the time of booking, so they can decide whether they wish to pay that rate and sleep in unmade beds each night of their stay. 2nd and 5th points (which you chose to address together): Regarding the wine tasting: there was no staff member available to guide or explain anything. As shown in one of my photos, there were simply open bottles set out on tables in two different rooms, with a brief description on paper listing the vintage, grape variety, etc. All guests were serving themselves, just as my group of friends and I did. As I mentioned, I only managed to taste one glass of wine because I was enjoying a pleasant conversation with my friends in your garden. Unless my friends have somehow acquired magical powers and can be in two places at once, it is impossible for them to have “abused” the wine. The way you approached me when I went to pour what would have been my second tasting was extremely rude, disrespectful, and completely disproportionate. Regarding the transportation to the restaurant afterwards: you are correct that, after we inquired about public transport options, your hotel offered us a transfer. However, it was not a private car, as you claim, but a branded bus from your hotel and winery. Also, you failed to mention in your reply that this was a paid service. Lastly, there was no need for you to “stop” any of us from driving, as you suggested — we are responsible adults and do not engage in drinking and driving. Point 3: I will not comment further on this, as I still find it absurd that I was not allowed to choose where to sit in an almost empty restaurant for breakfast. Point 4: I never received a personal email from you apologizing for any of these issues, nor for the terrible experience at check-out. Your husband’s behavior left one of our female friends in tears at the hotel entrance. This was not a minor misunderstanding, as you try to portray it — it was an outrageous extra charge for simply bringing us five empty glasses, on top of everything else mentioned above. Once again, I stand by my original rating. Moreover, your dismissive replies not only to my review but also to other guests’ reviews when things don’t go your way confirm my impression of you and your “staff”: arrogant.
