Simply the best pastry shop in Wissembourg, unequaled in 30+ years. Take my word for it; I was born in this town! The pastries and macarons are brilliant. We had coffee in the afternoon and also two eclairs and it was really beautiful. Unfortunately, the waitress was alone and it was a busy day, so we had to wait for quite a bit. Other than that- would recommend Excellent patisserie!!! I tried several black forest cakes during my stay in Alsace and this one was the very best, by far. Not too sweet and very well balance between all layers of this wonderful cake, being each layer a surprise and a delight! My congratulations go for the chefs and also for the staff which is also very kind and lovely. I truly reccomend this patisserie. I didn't had time, but if I had I definetly would have tried the pain au chocolat or the croisssants. They have a lovely room, where you can sit and enjoy your meal, while have a nice view for the street. The Pastries is seriously amazing 👏 😍. My friend and I had an amazing afternoon coffee break at this place after walking around the area of Wissembourg. The line is a little long that day, but we still manage to sit after 15min. The pastries we got is so good and we brought more home. Highly recommend this place. I tried the caramel eclair and it was absolutely fantastic! Definitely worth a try. The macaron was fine, but rather ordinary compared to the éclair. Overrated place. None of the pastries looked even remotely appetizing. The prices are shockingly high and definitely not worth it for the tiny portions that they serve there. The place itself is small and always crowded. Definitely avoid this tourist trap. There are better local bakeries nearby. The pastries are a pure delight. We tried it all - from sweet to savory. The ice-cream is top league as well. Great service, lovely garden, delicious cakes, coffee and chocolate. All it takes to enjoy actually gut coffee and cake is to cross the German border.
