Passing by I glimpsed a sign advertising a pizzeria, but underneath was an exhibition showing old vélo solex. This spiked my curiosity, we stopped to have a closer look. It was actually one of the family run traditional restaurants disminshing year by year. Entering one finds at the left a bar and few rustic wooden tables, on the right a small passage leads to the dining hall with the vélo solex showcase. The ownerin seated us and explained the specials of the day in French and in German. The waitress arrived shortly after with the drinks. We had ordered our meals which arrived 40 minutes later. The food was excellent, very nicely prepared and plenty. I had some salad and as main course rabbit and it was at the point as ordered and tasted like hardly any before. Bravo. Vegetables on the side and traditional Alsacian "Spätzle" also very good. We where all stuffed so had to skip desert but enjoyed a nice petit café afterwards. Schönes urgemütliches aber feines Lokal mit tollem hochwertigem Essen und Top Fleisch und sehr nettem Service. Ein echter Geheimtipp im im Umkreis vom Stockweiher !! Première expérience et super avis sur ce restaurant. On y mange bien, même très bien, avec des quantités généreuses et un savoir-faire remarquable. Le service est très agréable aussi. Je recommande. Un vrai régal à chaque commande ! Je commande régulièrement mes pizzas dans ce restaurant et c’est toujours un sans faute. La pâte est parfaite, les ingrédients sont frais et bien garnis, et les recettes sont variées et savoureuses. On sent que tout est fait avec passion ! L’accueil est toujours chaleureux, même lors des commandes à emporter. Les délais sont respectés, et les pizzas sont prêtes à l’heure, bien chaudes. C’est devenu une vraie valeur sûre pour moi !
