Great place for a family outing or if you like to zoos. It has a variety of animals. Big free parking space. Location is well inland, through the small country roads. Price is well worth it and affordable. Not a lot to walk as the pens are located near one another. About 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the whole circuit. It was an amazing with our family. It offers a close contact with all the animals, great for kids to see some wild that close. The seem very healthy and the staff is very kind. Thank you Familizoo ! The Familyzoo left me pleasantly surprised, not by an overwhelming number of animals, but by the clear emphasis on their well-being. Unlike other zoos, where are often crowded into enclosures, here it felt like each animal had room to breathe, play, and exist more naturally. The relatively smaller number of and limited variety seemed to reflect a thoughtful policy—prioritizing the quality of care over quantity. It was heartening to see the looking vibrant, their coats and patterns vivid and clean, suggesting they were thriving in their environment. You could tell they were well-fed and kept with minimal stress, supported by enriching toys and thoughtfully designed enclosures. I couldn't help but be grateful to the zoo's management for their commitment to animal welfare. It’s rare to a place that clearly prioritizes the animals' health and happiness, and it made for a truly rewarding experience. Familizoo in the Complex Atlantide in Saint Calixte is an amazing place for all. The zoo takes about two hours to walk through. The terrain is uphill and pretty rustic, so wear comfortable shoes, or you can rent a golf cart for one hundred dollars for the day. It's totally worth getting the golf cart, especially if you're going to do the other activities because the site is very big. Although they have a shuttle bus going around the complex, we always managed to miss it, lol. They have water parks, water slides, and a wave pool. They also have a huge bouncy castle section. Skate park, BMX trail, baseball field, mini golf, arcades, haunted house, a castle, a theater, the list goes on and on... they also have a huge stage for outside concerts. You can stay for the summer in your rv or stay for the night in their hotel made of glass and sleep with the lions. There is a small dépanneur, a candy store, a souvenir shop, and a fast food restaurant that is actually reasonably priced considering. We will definitely be going back next summer since both my teen and my toddler loved it. It's definitely a family-friendly place to spend the day or the whole summer. What an incredible place! The roar of the nature is so loud it vibrates in your chest. At the same time, it’s strangely calming. You can easily lose track of time just feeling the animals.family vibes bonding The admission price is a bit high, but the is absolutely worth it — there’s so much to see and enjoy. I highly recommend choosing the Aquatic & Zoo combo for a full experience. Some habitats could be improved to give the more comfort and stimulation. The rabbit area would benefit from better ventilation, and the lions could enjoy more enrichment and play structures. It would also be nice if the dinosaur park were included in the ticket, as the current price already reflects a premium attraction. Food choices are limited and pricey, with very few healthy options. The only healthier alternative I found was a pre-packaged sandwich from the souvenir shop fridge at the entrance. For a family-oriented venue, more balanced meals would be a great addition. On hot days, more shaded rest areas and drink stations along the path would make a big difference — especially for families with young children, as babies can overheat quickly. Debris should be tossed away or in a better place - Not kid accessible. Overall, it’s a beautiful and memorable place to visit. With small improvements for animal welfare, comfort, and food variety, it could become truly outstanding. Really nice place for kids. You can find different animals, and it seems they are taking care of well. I like it more than other zoos because you access water parks, inflatable parks, and so many things besides the zoo. If you have kids, I recommend buying all included activity packages. This zoo is very nice. They take in abandoned and mistreated animals. You can buy food for 5$ for the farm and feed them. Nice place to go for a few hours. I especially like the tigers. They have a big habitat and they're pretty active. Went with my 1 year old god daughter and 4 other adults, had an amazing time! Plenty of small to feed and amazing photo opportunities. Will definitely be returning when the castle is opened in June 💗 Bigger than expected. Wide range of and good view of all. Stroller friendly. Expect a good 2hrs to go through all the enclosures. did not look unhappy and everything seemed clean. There's information on each creatures: the bigger ones have names and the story of how they came to the sanctuary. You can even buy some feed to give to certain animals. Make sure you check if the animal is a biter first (warning signs) Incredible. We went with the vip experience. We were guided by the biologist of the place to all of the as she talked about them and their stories, and we're allowed "behind the scenes" to some of the and feed them by hand, pet some of them, saw how their food was processed, I mean we really got to understand how this place works. It is mainly a shelter for animals, one of them being endangered so they're protecting them while they reproduce to save the specie. They really care about this place and it shows. Highly recommend the vip experience. We went “of season” (end of September) during the week, we were alone so we got to enjoy all the animal at our rhythm. The staff was super nice and answer all of our questions on the different animals. We spent 5h in total including a picnic break on one of the many available picnic tables. The Zoo offers great value the entrance fee is low compared to many other places. The walk-through is enjoyable and not too long, making it perfect for families. What truly sets it apart is the staff: friendly, attentive, and engaging animators that make the whole a game changer. My family and I were really looking forward to celebrating my birthday (July 28) at Familizoo. We checked their website thoroughly and found no mention of a pet policy prohibiting dogs. To be sure, we called on Friday, July 25, and spoke with a staff member. We clearly explained that we were planning to on Monday and that we would like to bring our 16-year-old Chihuahua, who would remain in our wagon the entire time. The employee assured us this would not be an issue. After driving three hours, purchasing tickets, and walking around the grounds, we were stopped by another employee who told us dogs weren’t allowed. Despite explaining the prior phone conversation, the supervisor was called and we were told the dog had to leave. As a result, I spent my entire birthday alone in the car with the dog. while the rest of my family explored without me because I didn't want to disappoint my kids by leaving. I’m still sitting in the parking lot as I write this, incredibly upset and in tears. This completely ruined what was meant to be a special day. All of this could have been avoided if we had received accurate information in the first place. I’m deeply disappointed in how Familizoo handled the situation and the lack of consistency in communication from their staff.
