We stopped here for lunch to escape the heat, and it wasn’t too busy during the day. The bar is located not far from the beach, which is very convenient. I imagine it gets lively in the evening, with a relaxed bar atmosphere. The service was friendly and professional. I wasn’t sure what to choose, and the recommended the grilled chicken — it was delicious, and I was very happy with my choice. The owner and staff, made our party so welcome, even accommodating our wedding party, when we decided 20 of us fancied at the end of the night! Should be renamed 'Dives' as I think this was the worst place we visited during our 10 night holiday in Protaras. Had 1 drink and left. Sorry but the atmosphere was not nice because of a rather annoying, shouty and loud 'DJ' Having been to protaras quite a few times for weddings and stag dos and just for holiday I have always been to rives. The are so friendly and speedy service. George Is quite a character. Love the music acts they have and the food whilst not spectacular is perfectly reasonable. Great for and always so accommodating. See you next year guys. A really nice place, to enjoy your time and have your drink.Also many times of the week, there are some singers that immitate for example Elvis, Michael Jackson, etc.You really enjoy your time there!! Fantastic bar, there was definitely a few ringers in there they was very good, very vibe fast service, the toilets need a refurb though 😂 What a fantastic pub. Owner /staff really look after you, especially the owner who would always find you a table. Turns really very varied. 🎤 really fun, hubby loved getting up and having fun 😀. Meals very tasty, ate here a few times. Can't wait to return in September and have some more gun night. Would highly recommend this place 👌. The DJ is an out right so and so…. He wouldn’t let me write tickets for my friend and yet let the same family sing over and over. We waited for 2.5 hours to sing and had to complain to the owner before he turned back on and then he did it again. I have never seen anything like it… the apart from the DJ were great, remember our order and so welcoming. Spot on george and were fantastic to me and my three teenage children Jason waited on us and we couldn't fault the service food was great will definitely be returning 😋 I love this bar.
