Excellent little local take out and chip shop. No seating but next to a little green with a stream, bench seating and plenty of grass to sit on if the weather's decent. Loads of on-street parking outside. Friendly owner and absolutely delicious and chips. Generous portions and surprisingly low prices. My first experience with a chippy that cooks with beef drippings, there's definitely a difference 😋 Some of the best and anywhere with friendly service too. Lovely to get something to eat and sit outside on the benches and picnic tables next to the stream on a sunny day and watch the ducks playing. It is a perfect treat. Amazing chippy, amazing staff who are very friendly and even offered a sample of with chip spice! Cannot fault at all and definitely worth the drive. Only thing that would make it better are t shirts with “big fish, little fish…” 🤪 Absolutely amazing and the way they are cooked and taste, the batter on the is crispy, the nicest one we have had for a very long time would highly recommend. What a great find 👍🏻 Travelled 21 miles tonight to see if anything had changed… and it absolutely hadn’t was the best by far and worth the travel… was 10/10 Succulent fish… everything was fresh and staff were a laugh!
