Went for my son's birthday and it was awesome. Staff were really friendly and the service was really good, the food and drinks arrived super quick. The food was yummy and the portion sizes are huge. Plus as it was my son's birthday they played Happy Birthday and put a candle in his dessert. Highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed Well what can I say. Service was spot on, never left waiting or feeling like we were being rushed out either spot on. The food was fantastic we had the sharing platter for starters and I was genuinely surprised at what was brought out. I would have expected to pay almost double for the quality, selection and volume on the plate (first class) mains were just as good with a generous helping being served fresh. I couldn't manage a desert due to eating my fill on the first two courses. I would definitely recommend (I'm fussy) and will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. We come here annually when staying in Richmond as the food is tasty and value. On todays visit, the restaurant was quiet which is a first as it’s usually packed. The food was mediocre at best and quite tepid. The chicken dishes which are usually the star of the show were bland and dry and the accompanying salad was brown and wilted. The chips also were dry and seemed like they’d been cooked and reheated. The cheesy garlic bread and desserts were thoroughly enjoyed however. We will return when we’re next in Richmond and hopefully the food is as good as previous visits I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Piazza and I can confidently say it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet modern vibe that made us feel right at home.
