This was a surprising little find during our recent visit to Berchtesgaden. The garden has a long, narrow rectangular shaped fountain pool that is surrounded by mature full of green leaves. Plenty of shade for those resting on the benches in the area. Some nice plants with colourful blooms within the garden as well. I thought this was a quaint little place to happen upon while browsing around Berchtesgaden. Might not be much of a find during the colder months of the year but it was rather attractive to see in September. sakura ♥️ beautiful. beautiful garden with water passage under the kirchbluten trees. it should be visited around late April till start of May to enjoy the pink colour of the trees. a restaurant is available in the area. Small yet cozy park where it has a gate that makes you feel like you are entering to secret garden. There are definitely some balance between spaces and what can be found here. Besides there are fountain and flowers giving off lovely colors. If I am not mistaken they got small monument next to the gate (right side when you enter the park). Beautiful well maintained area with colorful and tranquil water. Ich war Ende April extra wegen der blühenden Kirschbäume hier – und es hat sich absolut gelohnt. Der Park ist sehr gepflegt und wunderschön. Vier Kirschbaumalleen, je zwei auf jeder Seite, schaffen eine beeindruckende rosafarbene Kulisse. In der Mitte befindet sich ein Brunnen, und entlang der Alleen laden bequeme Bänke zum Verweilen ein. Auf der Rasenfläche stehen Liegestühle – ideal zum Entspannen oder für ein Picknick. Das Gartengelände ist umzäunt, aber frei zugänglich. Im Inneren gibt es ein Café mit Kaffee, Eis und anderen Leckereien, eine kostenlose öffentliche Toilette, ein offenes Bücherregal sowie ein Tourismus-Informationszentrum, wo man sich über aktuelle Veranstaltungen in der Region informieren kann. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe – die Anreise ist unkompliziert. Während meines Besuchs war es ruhig und nicht überlaufen. Wir haben die Kirschblütenzeit genau getroffen – die mit Blütenblättern bedeckten Alleen sahen einfach zauberhaft aus. Zwischen den Bäumen hat man zudem einen Blick auf die Berge, was dem Ort einen besonderen Charme verleiht. Es war so schön, dass man gar nicht mehr weg wollte. Schöner kleiner Parkt zum hinsetzen und entspannen. Sogar mit Buch schrankt. Perfect little park to just seat and relax. There are free books available to read and a small little shop. Don’t miss the cherry blossom 🌸 in May they look spectacular. They only last a short time.
