Während der SalzAlpenTour Schönau kommt man hier vorbei und kann den Blick über den See und auf den Watzmann bei strahlendem Sonnenschein genießen. Sehr schöne Aussicht und wenn man oben ist weiß man, was man getan hat. Und zwar egal auf welchem Zustieg. Der kleine Watzmann lässt sich gut erwandern, allerdings darf man sich auf einen kurzen aber steilen Aufstieg vorbereiten! In 1 3/4 Stunden schafft man es ca 550 m vom Parkplatz Hammerstiel bis auf den Grünstein. Die kleine Almhütte liegt 15 Minuten unterhalb des Gipfels und bietet leckere Kuchen und Gerichte an (der Heidelbeerkuchen 😋), aber bitte Bargeld parat haben!
