Schöner kleiner See - leider direkt an der Autobahn A8. Viel Naturschutzgebiete an den Ufern. Fünf kleine Inseln gibt es und sehr klares Wasser. Der See ist im übrigen teils künstlich entstanden und wurde für den Betrieb der Leitzwerke aufgestaut. Am Südufer im Wald gelegen findet man die sehr sehenswerte Quelle "Deifi ria di". Toller Wanderweg um den See, fast ebener Weg. Führt auch durch den Wald mit Holzübergängen die auf Grund der Feuchtigkeit sehr rutschig sind, hier droht Sturzgefahr (was mir leider trotz Wanderschuhe passiert ist). Viele Wurzeln ragen aus dem Boden. Einige Wanderer sind mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs was ich persönlich nicht empfehlen kann, schon gar nicht mit Kinderwagen oder kleinen Kindern. Es gibt wenige Sitzbänke zum ausruhen. Ein Teil des Weges führt nahe an der Autobahn entlang. Ich liebe den See. Schöner Rundgang , teils im Wald. Herrlich ruhig. Schön zum entspannen. Teufelsquelle besuchen. Und das Seehamer Seehaus. Hier kann man gut essen und schön sitzen. Unweit der A8 gelegener schöner Moorsee mit Bademöglichkeiten. Ein ca 8 km langer Rundweg führt um den Seehamer See an dem man viele schöne Stellen entdeckt. 💙 ein paar kleine Inseln schmücken den See. Man erlebt hier einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang, dennoch ist der Autobahnlärm ständig zu hören. Nice place Der Durchgangsverkehr Campingplatz hat schwer nachgelassen,kein Strom im Sanitärgebäude,dadurch war es auch nicht möglich warm zu Duschen . Brötchenservice gibt es auch nicht mehr. Ich fahre da nicht mehr an . Einfach Hinter dem Rastplatz durch ein Tor gelaufen und stand plötzlich an diesem coolen See. 🤷‍♂️ Sehr schön von Autobahn Rastplatz auch mit Auto erreichbar 😅 Nice quiet and beautiful lake, great for a chilled Sunday stroll. Super Great place to make a 80-90 min walk around the lake. We went in early March and even though it hadn't been wet for weeks and there was no visible left, the trail did have some muddier parts... Or they would have been muddy if they weren't frozen. So just a heads up that sneakers may not always be the best choice. They trail surface really varies as you circle the lake. You'll encounter paved roads, gravel paths, grassy fields, narrow dirt paths with very gnarly roots to step on or over, and a forest trail that is a mix between dirt paths and wooden gangways. I wouldn't recommend a Kinderwagen if you mean to walk the entire circuit. Near to the campsite the noise from the autobahn is very loud. I don't know why anyone would camp there. As you get some distance from the autobahn things become more peaceful. There are many good benches with nice views as you make you way around the lake. There are also accessible parts of the beach which I would say would be good place to set up for a picnic perhaps if the water level allowed for it. If you're hungry after the walk I would recommend Dinzler, which is nearby, for something big, fancy and very tasty. Or if you want a hidden gem which is also excellent and nearby and not so fancy or expensive, check out Wirt in Loiderding. I highly recommend the Schwabentopf. Warm, filling and delicious. But check ahead to see if they're open. It's not an everyday type of place. And it may be cash only if I recall correctly. Friendly and comfortable though.
