Visited with family for late Sunday roast lunch. We all ordered the beef roast with potatoes which were tasty and cooked well. Also ordered a tasty side of cauliflower cheese to share. To finish we shared the bread and butter pudding which was nice but quite miniscule and the apple frangipani tart which was very delicious. Overall nice. Went here today and had a great time. The pub itself had character, the staff were extremely friendly and the food was amazing. Best roast I've had in years. Would definitely recommend! My son’s wedding meal and party was I. The stable which was excellent. The food, drinks and service were all fantastic. We then stayed the night and the room was sparkling clean, very comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras and the breakfast was delicious. Amazing all round!! We’ve been here for breakfast and evening food and couldn’t fault it. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great. Definitely recommend. Only used restaurant and bar, it has a fantastic atmosphere,service and setting, the food was very nice the fish tasted so fresh. We have been before for lunch and breakfast it is always a great experience.
