Ok so this is a very well kept secret, what a place, what a view, come have a cooked breaky in a beautiful aeronautical styled cafe. Watch the planes land and take off. See the departures board. Food; My poached eggs were hard not dippy but the flavour of the crushed avocado was lush, perfectly seasoned, so maybe an off day for the chef? Baked potato with coronation chicken. The potato had a lovely crispy skin, and fluffy in the middle with a generous helping of very tasty coronation chicken. Best jacket I've had in years as you normally get them microwaved and they're soggy. I'll be back for sure. Good venue to meet on a ride or see some great planes but cafe disappointing. Based right next to a working runway and they regulatory have spitfires visiting. The interior is stylish and designed using old plane parts and even from inside you have a good view of the runway. Staff are always lovely and they have gluten free options on the menu. Would love to see more breakfast menu options like a full or veggie breakfast. Soft drinks a little expensive (£2.55 for a can of coke) however the experience outweighed that small issue. Ordering at the bar can be long at busy times, but will definitely come again!
