Took close to 2 hours, but was worth it. Roads were really good. Had to leave scooter downhill and pay 100 peso a person for a ride up and down. Don't use this Google Maps location for your directions to get to Chocolate Hills. Search instead for Chocolate Complex. Very nice views. There are no hiking trails, just a short stairway up the highest hill for a viewpoint. Super place. Better in reality than pictures. We went in feb and this is considered as not a season as the color of the were rather green than brown. I loved it anyways! As a local, the chocolate are one of the most recognizable nature wonders in the country, since we often see them in school textbooks. And, seeing it in person made me happy. The tourists on the day of our visit are not that many. I think everyone that day was able to enjoy the view and secure their remembrance photos with the in the background. The long walk uphill is worth it when you reach the top and see the view of “Green Tea Mountain” I mean -Chocolate Hills—haha!
