Beautiful for riding or walking loads of both to go at, free parking and easy to find. A little local treasure. Perfect for supervised fun for younger children. Small car park. Lovely, moderate difficulty, circular walks. Not suitable for prams or wheelchairs. Great walking with countless trails. It's basically walk around the top so you can get lost and not really worry about it. Awesome for mounting biking. But you need to be careful when walking or with a dog. If walking on those bike or paths it the woods. The biking is hardcore downhill so they won't be able to stop. Views are great and it's fab to get out of life for a few hours in the forest. Just be mindful of the mountain bike that criss cross the woodland Loads of good walks here, great for dogging too A beautiful mix of forest and the top of the hills. We followed the ramblers family bunny walk and it was hard but beautiful and well worth it! My 4 and 9 year old managed it well, with the youngest getting tired around the 3 mile mark Nice woods. Seemed a good place for cyclists who like a challenge as there were a few there. We had a baby carrying was quite tough going as a gradient all the way and one way back was very uneven and rocky.
